The CTS-2 course, formerly known as CTS Prep is being offered for the first time in the region, in-person, in Mumbai at:

 

CTS 2 serves as a natural progression from the foundational AV knowledge offered in CTS 1. In this course, you will enhance your understanding of the core competencies that are assessed in the CTS® exam. It builds on the knowledge gained in CTS 1 by introducing new focus areas, applying previously learned skills, and deepening your understanding of key concepts.

WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS COURSE 
Professionals who: 

  • Plan to take the CTS exam in the near future.
  • Work as AV technicians or in an adjacent position.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with AV professionals and wish to deepen their knowledge of AV systems, technology, and the industry itself.
  • Wish to deepen and expand their understanding of concepts learned in CTS 1  
PRE- REQUISITES 
It is strongly recommended that learners complete the following either In-Person or On Demand:
  • CTS 1: AV Technology (Previously Essentials of AV Technology
  • AV Math

ADDITIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS: 
After taking CTS 1 and CTS 2, you might be prepared to sit for the exam. For extra confidence, it is strongly recommended you take Quick Prep: Certification Overview and Study Drills. 

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Completion of this course in no way guarantees you will pass the CTS exam, nor will this program cover all the topics listed in the exam content outline. By registering for this course, you are not signing up for the CTS exam.  The CTS exam must be applied for, paid for, and then scheduled separately at a Pearson Vue testing center. Candidates should review the CTS candidate handbook to learn more about the CTS Exam. Remember, there is no requirement to take any classes or buy study materials to take the CTS exam. However, many of your peers have found courses like these helpful in their exam preparations.
