CTS Prep has been recently replaced with CTS 2: Applied AV and the AV Project Process as part of AVIXA's new CTS Pathway.

The CTS Prep Pathway includes:

  • QuickStart: Onboarding the AV Industry
  • CTS 1: AV Technology (previously Essentials of AV Technology)
  • AV Math
  • CTS 2: Applied AV and the AV Project Process (previously CTS Prep)
  • CTS Sample Questions 

The courses and course materials are currently translated into German and Spanish and should be available in early 2026.
