Conferencing and Collaboration PH: The Next Evolution in the Modern Workplace Key Takeaways


Our February 19th Power Hour took a dive into what the modern workplace is now becoming. With a Shift to Experience-Driven Design, or Panelists stressed moving from a technology-first to an experience-driven design approach. We have concluded that focusing on the user experience is crucial, with a call to action for designers to involve stakeholders and begin design processes by understanding user workflows and outcomes rather than starting with technology. Hosted by Pete “Tec Man” Coman and our panel which included Frank Padikkala from Zoom, Sotaro Nishida from Yamaha, Mark Coxon from AVI-SPL and Alexis La Broi. Some key takeaways included:

  • Stakeholder Involvement - Frank emphasized the necessity of involving stakeholders throughout the design process and the significance of day 2 support, focusing on user-centered technical solutions.
