AVIXA APAC Member Forum is an initiative, wherein AV professionals (also members of AVIXA) in the Asia Pacific (Oceania, Southeast Asia, India and GCC states), region meet virtually on a quarterly basis.

Through this forum, AVIXA aims to provide a platform for the attendees to connect with professionals not just in their region, but across the Asia Pacific. The agenda is also to facilitate a discussion with industry experts, gain insights on current AV trends and topics, while encouraging attendees to interact and share their experience and perspective in breakout sessions.

Topic summary:

Featuring GDP growth of 6.5% (India) and 4.6% (China) and better than 4% Pro AV market growth, the APAC region remains the major engine for the industry. Lessening of trade tensions between the US and China is a significant positive trend for the region. But what are the spending trends for APAC buyers, which products and solutions are taking the lead, and how are different industries faring amidst the tariff and trade turmoil?

About the presenter:

Sullivan-Trainor is a member of the AVIXA Market Intelligence team. His research and analysis include data insights on the Pro AV industry across markets, geographies, solutions, and products. He is responsible for product management, content, and analysis for AVIXA’s Market Opportunity Analysis Report (MOAR) and Industry Outlook and Trends Analysis (IOTA). His background varies as an IT and Telecom analyst and consultant with more than 20 years' experience. In addition to knowledge about Pro AV, he has expertise in networking, IOT, and cybersecurity. Past affiliations include Omdia, IDC, and Ericsson. He has published two books and authored numerous articles for industry and news publications. He holds an MBA from Boston University and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
