Tech Crew

If you are looking to offer a cool, extra-curricular activity for your students, the Tech Crew program might just be your answer. Give young students valuable insight into the exciting world of AV and into new career paths they or their parents may not necessarily consider.

If you are the parent of a secondary school student, who believes that their child might be interested in becoming a Tech Crew member, you can contact your child’s school and let them know about the AVIXA Tech Crew program. Please identify a contact within the school staff, such as a teacher, the principal or the extra-curricular activities coordinator, and put them in touch with the AVIXA Foundation at  [email protected].

Get involved by volunteering to help establish and /or mentor a local Tech Crew in your area, visiting Tech Crews in schools to provide foundational training on technologies and industry trends or even consider offering internships. Our vision is to help the next generation join the workforce and to help our members find well trained and passionate staff.

The AVIXA Tech Crew challenge was launched at Integrate 2018 in Sydney. The goal of this challenge is to provide students with one action-packed day of access to Integrate, the largest Audiovisual Technology show in the Southern Hemisphere that will give them valuable insight into the AV industry and the solutions we provide. The Tech Crew Challenge, invites students from secondary schools to attend a required number of education sessions at the show and visit exhibitors’ booths to learn about the latest products. Students will be accompanied by adult supervisors of their school.
